Holiday Inn Seattle Downtown

Holiday Inn Seattle Downtown

What is your Priority Club status?
Platinum

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked "2 QUEEN BEDS NONSMOKING" - got same on top floor
500 point welcome gift posted same day

How are the rooms?
Good, clean, nothing remarkable - standard US Holiday Inn rooms

How is the exec. lounge?
N/A

What was good and what was bad?

Good:
  • Lots of indoor parking, only $19
  • All staff friendly and prepared; quick check-in
  • Neighborhood is nicer than the core business district; lots of Amazon "millionaires" live nearby

Bad:
  • Not really near any of my downtown clients - it's either a LONG walk or 4 blocks to the streetcar to get closer to the business district

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
This hotel is consistently ~$50 cheaper than similar properties in the "heart" of downtown Seattle. I would consider it again if I were driving back out of the city or doing work up on the northern end of downtown. It's also nice to be away from the aggressive panhandling near the meth clinics farther down near the stadiums.
