New standard? One offs?
It is in policy of the SD to greet SE's flying in Y subject to time after serving J. I don't know how long it has been.
I had the privilege of flying with YVR based (excellent!) Jamie on AC108 and 161 on Saturday who greeted me an another SE in Y on 108. On 161 I was up front and had time to chat and confirm with her that this is actually in policy.
Also, I learned that SD's (and maybe all FA's) have received a summary card just recently that shows all the AC elite levels and the corresponding BP/Manifest codes. I snapped a pic but due to deplaning hurry it's horribly out of focus.
