I do have a few RUC left, but seems silly to use them for C+ (Can you even? why would you?)

And actually, on the outbound flights, I currently have us waitlisted for J using 2 GUCs. But if they don't clear on the LAX -> SYD prior to DoD (as seems to be the norm these days for this route...) we may end up SOL on upgrades for any of the prior segments, which is part of why I am trying to get us decent seats in Y ahead of time.

I guess I could just watch the seat map and if there are lots of seats open just have them apply the GUC to the whole route prior to the LAX -> SYD segment clearing... but seems like an awfully big gamble, with the downside being 2 wasted GUCs for just the domestic segments.
