We will be taking our first trip to Vietnam several months from now and I will be booking an internal flight from SGN > CXR return. I would like to book the flights now but realized when booking I have to input my passport information.....my current passport that I hold will be expiring before the dates of our trip and I will obviously have a new passport by then. Will I have an issue booking these flights right now from the website and inputting my current passport information? Do they actually look at this closely and will I be fine as long as I have my new passport when attending the airport ( which I obviously will ).
I'm just not sure how strict they are and would not want to walk up and have them look on the computer and attempt to compare the information whereas it would cause a problem?
