The Whirling Dervish ceremony was, as you described it, "OK"; it was interesting from a cultural perspective but those who don't know what they're getting into beforehand and are expecting some sort of big, lively dance festival may be disappointed.

The rest of my trip passed interestingly but rather uneventfully. It's Monday morning and I'll be heading out to the office soon, but I'll post a mini-trip report later on.
