They essentially take away free 1st class upgrades for many medallions with FCM and leave them with C+ as a minor consolation price.

Now they are in the process of slowing taking away C+ and giving FF's MORE to worry about. When gate upgrades on DOD to first class give a FF that surprise seat....99% of us ARE happy. When gate upgrades (or Op-Ups) on DOD to C+ give a FF that surprise MIDDLE seat...99% of us are NOT happy.

I do not drink enough koolaid to view this as a good change.
