About to book a flight with Emirates to BKK via Hong Kong and bit concerned with the seat width as detailed by Seat Guru at just 18.5 inch. Having travelled on Qatar which is 22 inch and very happy, I am wondering just how tight the width is on Emirates. Particularly when the economy seats are almost the same width. I would be very grateful for any comments from regular bus class travellers as to the comfort of these seats.
It is some time since I travelled on Emirates and the last time was on a 777 which I seem to remember was a bit tight with 2-3-2 configuration compared to other airlines 2-2-2.
Emirates are showing a very decent price for this trip but I would not want to sacrifice comfort for cost. Particularly as one of the main reasons for travelling business class is a dickey back.
