Almost always get a white boarding pass on a codeshare, and occasionally at other times too, but it has never had any impact for me on actually using it. Status shows up correctly on a paper BP, shows up correctly when the phone is scanned at the airport/lounge, and is shown correctly on the CSD/CSMs iPad on-board too.
