Just wondering if you have been to the SYD QF F lounge? I consider this one of the best lounges available and the food quality is top notch. I consider the LAX version to be a cut down version of the SYD version. All the food I've had is very good. Yes the rest of the lounge is decent, not spectacular, but I wouldn't say disappointing.
Also I find the food and coffee more Australian style, and as an Aussie, after a week of US food, it's a good change
