Can you SDC to a flight almost 24 hours prior? Due to schedule oddity, there is a flight 23:56 before my ticketed flight which I would like to get on. The trouble is by the time it is within 24 hours of my ticketed flight, my desired flight would have closed for check-in. Is there any way to do it?
I would try an agent, with the push to improve customer satisfaction lately I've noticed a difference in how they are treating pax when it comes to changes. Twice in the last month I've even had them volunteer to completely waive the change fee when making a change well outside of the SDC period. One time was over a week in advance and the other time was 3 days in advance. I didn't even ask either time, the agent just offered (which was shocking).
