Incorrect DOB at online check in

Although I've got my passport details saved with CX but they still ask for DOB when doing online checkin today and I incorrectly put in the date of my passport's expire date, the year was correct though..... Would that cause a problem or it will get fixed at the check in counter later? Thanks.
