The steaks are a gamble with poor odds. Any curry is usually good. Fish is often quite good. Cold salads tend to be humourless. The breads, even if good when you get them, go dry and hard very quickly so eat earlier rather than later.

Unfortunately (I expect) you'll miss out on the desserts which are nearly always good. I don't like cheese so I can't comment on that part of the menus.

Wines are usually quite reasonable, some of the Pouilly-Fumés recently have been outstanding. The Champagne is probably as shown above, but if they have a vintage one as the 3rd option, give it a go. Rosé Castelnau is less of a traditionalist austere Champagne than the white Castelnau.
