Who's currently eligable to use the No1 lounge (without pay)? oneworld.com says it can be used instead of the (closed) CX lounge but only shows CX/AY labels. Does it mean it can be used for anyone on a oneworld flight with sapphire status, or just when flying with CX/AY?
The CX lounge was the designated/preferred lounge for AY pax before. I guess CX thought for whatever reason it was better to sign with No.1 than just redirect to BA/AA. Maybe No.1 charged less per pax than the standard OW reciprocal entry fee? Or maybe they wanted to avoid overcrowding like the mess at LGW.
No.1 is NOT a OW lounge. It's a third party lounge contracted to CX and AY. As such, I think No.1 is limited to CX and AY pax, not OW premium pax.
