Raffles is a lovely guy but his eccentric taste in lounges do not fully align with mine. He tried to make the case that No. 1 LGW North was a good replacement for the BA lounges there, and I think it's fair to say that view isn't widely shared. Particularly when hot food is available (lunch time and evenings) then my personal view that either AA or BA are much better than No. 1 but tastes do vary, and if travelling CX/AY or Priority Pass you can look for yourself. If you haven't been to BA or AA's T3 Lounges then I'd have a look and reach your own conclusion. Again my personal view is that BA T3 is better than T5 North, about the same as T5 South, maybe not quite as nice at T5B. But as I say, don't be over-fazed by online punditry (including mine!), seeing is believing.
