Who's currently eligable to use the No1 lounge (without pay)? oneworld.com says it can be used instead of the (closed) CX lounge but only shows CX/AY labels. Does it mean it can be used for anyone on a oneworld flight with sapphire status, or just when flying with CX/AY?
Don't worry about opening a new thread, it's not a crime! It may help others with a similar query.
The No. 1 lounge is just an alternative for CX and AY passengers. I can't think of any sensible reason for anyone from CX or AY to use that lounge when they can use the AA and BA lounges, indeed I'm not sure why they bothered to create the facility with No. 1. But if flying BA or AA you can only use the BA and AA lounges (either), which are considerably better anyway.
