It is indeed 14 days. However, I found an email address for the hotel and asked them about whether I could be charged super-high prices in case of price jack-up. They explained technically, yes, I could, but that they were confident prices wouldn't go out of the range I'd seen when I booked and would probably even be lower because they also offered cheaper rooms and average out the prices of all rooms when computing the number. Plus, they offered to attach a note to my file indicating that I could have a 3-day cancellation window instead of 14. Very nice - looking forward to my stay there now! (Between all these concessions, I feel that the risk-reward tradeoff is within my comfort zone to go ahead & keep this reservation.)
