Travel (Visa question of UK Citizen from South Africa for Germany)

Hi all,
This may be a ridiculously easy question but I'm left rather confused.
I currently live in South Africa but was born in the UK so have my British passport; I'm planning on visiting Munich later this year for a holiday, around two weeks.

Can I fly straight from JNB to MUC with my British passport visa-free, or do I need to apply for a Schengen Visa? Is there anything at all I'll need to do at immigration or any other documents needed to board the flight in JNB?

Once again I do apologise for something so simple but it's hard to find examples (for me at least) from people who are travelling to Germany for a holiday from a country other than the UK, on a UK passport. Thanks in advance!
