Wait until your transaction is denied when you are overseas and CIBC says to call an agent. Positively the worst service. I have had multiple transactions denied including purchases in advance. My credit rating is perfect, no debts and I have more than enough liquidity in a Canadian bank to cover my credit card limit. And yet CIBC flags items such as a purchase of an AC ticket to Asia 2 months in advance as suspicious and denies the transaction.
