I'm booked on flight AA86, May 28 and now I'm seeing that it appears consistently delayed. I purposely choose this flight so I'd have almost a 4 hour layover to make a 10:15 flight to Nairobi. I'm getting increasingly concerned by the pattern of this flight being several hours 4+ late that I will encounter a problem and even with long layover i will miss my flight.

How is it possible the same flight day after day be delayed so much? I would assume many people on an international flight to London have connections they are trying to make and it would be a huge mess to try to reschedule masses of people. Do they attempt to put you on a different flight out of Chicago that isn't delayed if they know if in jeopardy of missing connection?
