Blue cabin light in 757

I just did my first domestic redeye with DL in a long time and had one of the worst inflight experience.

I was on a semi-retro'ed 757. Not sure if it was the new mood light but the FA left cabin fully lit with the blue light for the entire duration of the flight. I never saw the light change color, so I do not believe it's Boeing's new sky mood light as I have seen those change color through the flight.

I am shocked that DL cabin product team didn't do any home work on this. Blue light disrupt normal sleep process and needless to say, I couldn't get any sleep. It felt something was keeping my awake. I travel internationally all the time and I am not a light sleeper. They should never turn that blue light on for redeye flights, when 98% of the passengers were trying to sleep.

I will say that the cabin crew were very young, good looking, and very attentive - a fresh change from the retirement age cranky grandma and grandpa that service the international routes. BUT, they were too attentive for a redeye flight when people are trying to sleep. The constant water and COFFEE run seems just crazy... They should have just handed everyone a bottle of water and let people rehydrate base on their own needs...

Anyone else had some weird redeye experience recently?
