My first (only?) cockpit visit as a 11 year old to a BA 747 flight deck somewhere over India inspired me to seek a career as a pilot, but I grew to 6ft7 by the age of 15, so went into another strand of travel.
Sorry that the possible lifechanging inspirational highlight of these young peoples trips disrupted you for all of 10 minutes. Blame Bin Laden, this'll possibly be the only chance they get to meet the captain and see the flight deck in the modern age.

Indeed, we could open up a Junior Forum. Wouldn't it be good to see "Grumpy man in CE on BA 701 giving me dirty looks" title threads.
I do have some sympathy with the OP, but if the crew give good service, which has very much been the case on my last 2-3 CE VIE trips, then hopefully he will de-plane in a good mood.
