I would like to go to Alaska and Beijing this summer consecutively. Coincidentally, the cheapest flights to Beijing are on Korean Air and flights to Seoul from NYC go through Anchorage for about $950. Does anyone know whether it is possible to try to take this trip with about a one week stopover in ANC by paying a little extra?

Also, I am not very particular about how I fly to Beijing. What is generally the expected price to fly to Beijing from NYC in the beginning of June even if it isn't necessarily stopping in Anchorage? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you very much in advance.
