I agree that this post could do with a few more specifics, but as a general answer to the question as posed, a reasonably conventional IST-LHR-ATL is available on BA for £1486 in CW/CE return. From ATL it makes sense to use Avios or cash to get the local connections.
Whilst I understand the principle of preferring your last flight leads you straight to your destination, why is
LHR-IST-LHR-DFW//IAH-LHR (I presume the last leg will be dropped in this scenario)
so much easier than
LHR-DFW//IAH-PUJ-CLT-LHR, which can be bought for less?
It is either 3 flights on the outbound or 3 flights on the inbound. Or am I forgetting something?
