Hope it is not too late for your trip but I just came across your post. Mom Tri's looked beautiful when we checked it out in Nov - overlooks a gorgeous beach and is full of lovely artistic installations. However, we stayed at a Villa .... www.villaphuket.com and it was incredible!! Don't be scared off by the rates .. e-mail the owner (Jean DeGomery) and see if there is availability. We were two adults in a Villa for 12 and it was affordable (realize that all help, car, driver etc are included and in the end the only add ons were the actual grocey bill and the well deserved tips). We also loved having DAILY massages in the massage sala of the Villa for $7.50 per person per hour! Check it out and e-mail me if you have any questions.
