OK - so, I stayed at the Courtyard last night, and then the Residence Inn right across the parking lot the next night. Courtyard blocked the port it seems, because I'm connecting fine on the Residence Inn network.

Very strange there'd be a difference in 2 hotels literally right next to each other.

Good to know for future stays. Maybe each brand has it's own IT? Very strange.
