Just used a 2 cabin PHX-JFK flight and A class worked - got USD4159.26, same fare bases.
So both AAIJ and AIIJ are correct, it just depends on whether there is a business class cabin on the AA flights. If there is, A may not be used on that sector and I must be booked instead.
