Can't answer directly about breakfast, but I went to the QF lounge last Tuesday afternoon and was totally impressed with the sit down menu and wine choices. Pretty much had the place to myself at 4pm. It's significantly larger than the Flagship lounge and if I'm not mistaken they only have food that is laid out, not cooked to order.
KAL lounge was a bit more crowded. Stopped at the Admirals club prior to boarding my flight and realized I should have just stayed at the QF lounge. Glad they recently opened the walkway between the two terminals to allow easy access to more lounge options.
