Not sure if I get your plans exactly, but I did a very quick dig - how about... http://goo.gl/flights/SpDK. This gives you 5 months in ATL, along with 3 days or so in PUJ. Didnt play with extending anything else. $1700, Bus and domestic First.

Thanks for that. We will be in Europe in early September for our honeymoon and our base is ATL so ideally we would do something like EU-Caribbean-US stopover-Europe, where we extend our honeymoon a few days and enjoy some time in the caribbean on the tail end of it, stopover for a few months and then head back to Europe sometime in 2017. Even better would be finding a route that allowed us to stopover on each direction, so we could just stopover, do a caribbean trip this winter and stop over, and then return to Europe sometime in 2017.
