Just want to add about Limousine Bus. Limousine Bus is very reliable and staff will try to accommodate as much as possible. Out of how many rides I had on Limousine Bus on past 10 years plus I never had problem with Limousine Bus.

However, Limousine Bus Japanese website (not shown on English website) does mention about surfboard. Due to the dimension of baggage storage area of buses, surfboard longer than 2 m (6.6 ft. or 78.7 inches) cannot be transported in a baggage area nor allowed in passenger area.

Also, the Limousine Bus does have baggage policy. Two baggage per passenger and each not exceeding 30 kg (66.1 lbs.). Limousine Bus’ Japanese website is implying that if you are going to have three surfboards then other passenger’s baggage will have priority and if there are still spaces left in a baggage storage then they can accommodate your surfboard. You mentioned that your surfboards are 6 ft. 8 inches, which is just about 6.6 ft.

Hope all will work with Limousine Bus. I do think option of ship[ping your surfboard from HND to NRT rather than carrying with you is good option.
