A lot of people from the US are coming over and shopping at Canadian outlets (there is one in Niagara, another near Toronto) because the US dollar is very strong, and the outlets, priced in CAD are a bargain (think high end handbags, clothing, electronics, etc.) An awful lot of NY, Ohio and other licence plates in the parking lot!

For example, a couple of weeks ago I bought this at the outlet:

The US online price is $90 US. I paid ~$25CAD (around $19US). So there are quite a few savings to be had.
