In an update to MAC today, TSA said it was considering eliminating the PreCheck lines at the (old) South Checkpoint and consolidating PreCheck entirely at the (new) North Checkpoint. The idea is that it would allow PreCheck to shift up to four, five or even six lines, and that they could concentrate the passenger screening dog teams at the old South Checkpoint with regular security. Decision to come soon. But I'm supportive of anything that makes PreCheck move faster.
It will be interesting if they make that change. I imagine Delta will have some comments on it. Given a couple portion of DL flights go out of gate near south, complaints will take place.
I just moved to PreCheck. However, after the gentlemen directing people at South told me with PreCheck and SP, to use SP, it resulted in no PreCheck.
Spring break is over so lines will improve. The bigger issue is people still not getting the 321 liquid and being prepared to pull laptops out when hitting not security.
