As someone who likes to fly to Asia for a quick weekend trip, I'd very much welcome nonstop service from YVR to more Asian cities, but I'm unsure who exactly would be filling these YVR-SGN/BKK/SIN flights. Most Canadians cannot even find these places on a map let alone pay extra to fly there nonstop.
