Yes. It happened to me once: at LHR, on BA.

The precise details of the event are lost in the mists of time, but in March 1994 I flew BA DHA-LHR. I was working in Saudi Arabia at the time and decided to fly to England for a few days at the end of Ramadan / Eid-al-Fitr to surprise my Mum with a face-to-face birthday greeting.

Our early morning arrival at LHR came after the IRA mortar attack there the previous evening. I can't recall which terminal we were due to disembark at, but for sure we ended up getting off the aircraft at a different terminal.
