Yes, once. Very small airport and you can walk down the hill into Town without too much trouble.

On the one occasion I flew to Wick I then managed to:

1) Get my hire car day wrong by one day but the Europcar people said no worries and just moved my prepaid day for the day I actually arrived without charge (wouldn't have happened at LHR)

2) Had dinner at the hotel on the world's shortest street - was quite pleasant!

3) Drove round a few of the lighthouses that form(ed) the names of places on the shipping forecast

4) At Duncansby Head had a lovely walk in the sunshine but it was snowing in Thurso a few miles away

5) Took the train back to Inverness and then out to Fort William and Mallaig, Ferry to Skye, Bus to Kyle of Lochalsh and train back to Inverness

Nice way to spend 3 days thinking about nothing in particular
