The Business Class Cabin

Business Class passengers will either turn left (Rows 1-5) or right (Row 6) when you board.

It comprises 22 seats, spread across 6 rows. The configuration is 1-2-1. At the back of Row 5, is a communal bar area for Premium Class Passengers. The bar is more of a shelf, but a QR member of crew is usually stood there.

As the cabin is split into two sections, those seated in Row 6 may feel like Statler & Wardorf from The Muppets.

All seats offer direct-aisle access, with no need to step across anybody. However, not all seats are the same, in terms of legroom and windows, so continue reading for more info.

A Solo-Flyer
As a solo-flyer, the best seats are those by the windows (A and K). All of the A/K seats offer great views out of the large windows, however seats 5A/5K offer one window, opposed to two.

Row 5, as already stated, is at the back of the first Business Class section. As such, those seated in Row 5 will be the first off the plane once you have landed.

For those sat in Row 1, specifically seats 1A/1K, extra legroom is on offer. Despite some potential disturbance from the galley, in the form of light and noise, there are no bathrooms ahead, so passenger traffic walking past you, should be non-existent. Just to make their desire even greater, seats 1A and 1K, do tend to only be released once Check-In has opened (so do not worry if you cannot select these seats when you make your original booking).

A Couple
When travelling as a couple, the best seats are in the middle (E and F). There is a divider between the seats, so they are also good for a solo-flyer.

As a couple, you may need to move your heads forward to talk to one-and-other from the comfort of your seat, but QR crew are able serve your meals so that you can eat at the same time.

Some FTers have indicated that they prefer sitting with one passenger behind the other, as the window seats do offer slightly more privacy due to their angle.

Above seats 1E/1F, on the bulkhead, is a large information screen. This stays on throughout the flight, offering a roaming map perspective. As such, this may become intrusive.

A small bar area is situated directly behind seats 5E/5F, but it's nothing compared to the special treat for those in Row 6.

Row 6 in the Business Class cabin, is a little strange. There are only two seats, as adjacent to the seats are the bathrooms. If that was the only disturbance, QR could be forgiven. However, in addition to that, is the light from the small windows Doors 2L and 2R, as well as the bar area directly ahead of these seats. There is a divider so you're not sat completely in the way, but these seats should be avoided.

Directly behind Row 6, is the Economy Class cabin. The first row of that cabin, offers the bassinet positions. As such, you may be disturbed by the noise of infants enduring a tough flight. Please be considerate to those in that situation, as flying is not easy for young ones.
