Don't know if this is a trend, but for both my UA Explorer and Ink cards, I called when the AF hit and received no offer.
I paid the AFs to keep both cards, and 2 months later (so having the cards for 14 months), right before the 90-day cancellation/refund deadline, I called and got an AF credit for both cards.
Maybe they want to see some level of commitment?
Did you put any spend between the AF and the 90d call? Did you call to ask for an offer or you went straight into the cancellation script? Thanks
