The hotel is indeed perfectly located for your purpose, and a welcome break from the ubiquitous 'business hotels'.

Their rates on singles are good (and better with a JR rail pass), but on doubles there is competition aplenty.

One problem with this hotel seems to be that it never has rooms available when you need it.
