I can permit myself this anecdote as it happens to be April 1 today and this happened on April 1 many years ago. I was on the last flight from ZRH to GVA operated by Crossair on a small Avro. Crossair were always a little young and hip compared to the big parent Swissair (as it was at the time) and when the doors closed, the pilot came on to the PA, introduced himself: "Welcome to this Aeroflot flight, destination Moscow". The gentleman next to me shot up in panic, grabbed his carry-on from the overhead and I had all the pains to calm him down and remind him of the date.
