The wind was just as bad at BFS apparently, also no presence to handle pax at short notice - last flight if the day! The EI flight also diverted to DUB - FWIW.

From a personal point, as I live 5 miles from BFS I reckoned that was where we were off to until the announcement. Being returned to a closed airport at midnight where there is now no public transport or taxis was a bit tricky for some.

At least Hertz were excellent by meeting me in the car park with the docs all prepared at midnight so I could head home. 👍
