Well good luck with that, we all have different paths here and it's entirely up to you how you spend your money. IST isn't the easiest route to 160 TPs, it's one of the longer ones. As a means of visiting a fascinating city I'd certainly endorse it, but I think you're coming straight back by the looks of it. There is a transit route from arrivals that gets your back to departures quite swiftly. Hope it goes well for you.
Any suggestions on a couple of good 160tp routes from London and preferably within Europe. Or at least no where, where I need to get a visa for. The LGW-AMS-JER seems a faf but I'd do it at a push if it were the last resort.
For the first time I find myself a few hundred short of GGL renewal - Mrs & Mstr CC have been been doing the bulk of travel this year. I have a couple of free weekends coming up where I could fit in the runs needed for the 300TP's
