right now in cape town hertz is the cheapest game in town
but only if you have a us/canadian credit card that has the car rental insurance coverage on it
if you go to hertz.com, select the loop st location, you will see weekend rates (fri-mon) for the lowest end econo (group t) for 600zar or something high. but if you break down the rate, you see that they include the insurance in the rate... so a 58zar day + 14% vat makes it roughly 200zar for the weekend, with 400 zar insurance.
the thing is you only get 200km a day
to get unlimited miles you need to punch in the united promo code, and the cars are almost triple but with no insurance included. sneaky sneaky.
$17us for a car that gives 600km (barely enough) and 1250 mileage plus? yesplease
