I agree too, my point being that there is a particular ID hazard with flying to BHD that even I had not encountered before - having lived most of my life 5 miles from BFS! It is unlikely to happen with LBA/MAN/ABZ/EDI etc
It's a bit odd to divert to DUB rather than the well-equipped airport with a cross wind runway 14 miles up the road which acts as one of the main divert points for the N Atlantic, but BA are increasingly doing this. I guess DUB is a fairly big European station for them but they have no presence at BFS.
