I have a contrarian view on this. Upper Deck on the 748 is brilliant - newish plane and interior, quiet, better IFE. And, in contrast to many here, I cannot find much of a difference regarding food quality between LX and LH. My impression indeed is that LH serves more attractive wines. And mostly I prefer cabin service on LH vs LX.
