I'm new in this forum, hope someone can give me advice on what to do.
I've booked a flight one way from Dubai (UAE) to Catania (ITALY, EU).
The order was Dubai to Doha, Doha to Munich, Munich to Catania.
My first flight segment was departing at 00.30 on 21 March 2016, I landed in Doha at 00.45, went to board the next flight that was scheduled to depart at about 2.00 am and there they told me to wait because they had to check my documents ( they did the same security check in dubai before my first flight and all was OK and let me board) after 45 min waiting they came to me and said that I was denied to board.
I ask them why ? Because I have the Italian permanent residence and I was able to fly in every Schengen country. They told me that was a security issue and took me to the transfer desk.
I had to wait till 5 am seated with no kind of assistance, no help, not knowing what to do. Then they came to me and told me they have booked a flight and give me a voucher for the breakfast. I had breakfast and got back to the transfer desk and ask for the ticket and my passport, they told me to wait and so I waited again till 7.20 am I was very angry and frustrated 7 hours seating with nothing from them.
I went again and told them to give me at least explanation and then they took me to the new flight boarding it was about 8 am finally I got boarded to the Doha Rome flight. After 6 hours flight I landed in Rome (Italy) and change to next flight to reach my final destination Catania. In Rome I had to go to the transfer desk to find my luggage because it wasn't put on the final segment Rome to Catania. Finally at about 4 pm I landed and went home.
