Re: the IT point, I think the spirit of my argument applies here as well. Does AC's IT suck? Yes. Does it need to? Not at all. If other airlines can get the pre-order thing to work, there is no reason why AC shouldn't be able to.
Absolutely. I even started a thread a few months trying to make constructive suggestions about features AC could or should add to its offering. I'm pretty sure pre-ordering meals was something that came up multiple times in that discussion.
