Auberge 1 bd suites valley view are the best! Meadowood is better than it used to be ( renovated) but I don't think as nice as Auberge although great if with kids in the summer. ( not great for a couple in summer as they sell membership and lots of non guest families with kids at pool). They do have a separate kids pool and adult pool, but lots of teens at adult pool and just crowded in summer. I prefer Auberge in late spring, summer and fall. I like Meadowood in the winter if you get the right renovated room! Cozy rooms in trees with fireplaces and I do personally love the 3 star Michelin restaurant, but may not be for everyone.
Poetry Inn is a nice alternative - great views, beautiful rooms, small, but not full service resort ( but close to many restaurants).
