Hi guys,

I'm thinking about paying for my AA flight using mostly AA gift cards, with the small remaining balance on my Aviator Red. I am not clear on the exact terms on how to get the free checked bag with the Aviator Red card - does the flight have to be paid in entirety with the Aviator card? Does anyone have experience getting the free checked bag benefit when paying with AA gift cards?
