Yes, I've been lucky enough to use all my GPUs every year. I mainly fly to Western Europe and FRA seems to be my most traveled entry point- if that makes a difference in success rates. My flights are usually booked within a week of flying and therefore are pretty high up on the fare class. $3-4000 for a economy ticket deserves an upgrade!
Now I'm looking at $6-10K for J tickets. Ouch.
I'd be really bummed to have GPUs expire.
