Just to clarify, the TSA checkpoint in the connector is not open yet so one would have to walk all the way to the back of TBIT on the departure level to clear TSA. It's not worth the hassle.

Right now, if you have a connecting flight to T7, your best bet is to clear TSA at T7. Unless you can see that the line is short as you walk pass T4, T5 or T6.
