The statement isn't that you're only supposed to use the
debit card for online purchases. The statement is that you're only supposed to use the
My Cash funds for online purchases. If you have funds for the debit card from a checking account, from payments from others, or anywhere else, then that's fine.
I'll have to dig through my emails to see if I have a written statement. I think I do, but there are a lot of emails to go through.
